Album Notes

Combining pop-sensibilities, lush guitars, and a bit of electronica, Election makes music as diverse as their San Francisco Bay Area home.

Melancholy indie power rock! Sweet and cool and hard and tough all at the same time.

(review by garageband.com)

San Francisco trio plays easy-going pop that would make any teenage girl swoon -- falsetto vocals on the edge of dreamland, hook-laden melodies, and warm guitars.

This is a great album. I hear hints of dave matthews, jeff buckley, radiohead. It's a must have for anybody who likes good, solid, modern rock. I listen to it all the time. Not to mention, it's a great deal for ten bucks; there's frickin' 20 tracks on it! p.s. There's a funny hidden track after the last song.

I was just shopping around and came across this surprisingly good record. I clicked on a few of the sample tracks and was intrigued. Trust me, the rest of the album doesn't dissapoint. Frankly, I can't wait for their next album, because I can barely get enough of this one.
