Album Notes

ELECTRA-KILL, the Cyber Chaotic band formed in the Underground of Paris, France in 1998 by KILL X (Guitarist/Songwriter) and American Vocalist/Songwriter R.S. SAIDSO (formerly of The Frankenstein Drag Queens From Planet 13), when their worlds collided at a Paris rehearsal studio. Tracking their first recordings only days later, these recordings would go on to become the sound of the new electronic movement. Soon they found themselves demoing 10 tracks that would later be released in 2000 as the Enema demos; this demo quickly started to spread like a new disease throughout the world, earning them the title of creators of "MUSIC FOR THE DOOMED GENERATION". They wasted no time on feeding the frenzy of music starved youth that couldn't get enough of the new movement. In early 2001 they recorded seven more tracks released as "THE OTHER LIE FORM". 2001- 2003 was spent writing and in pre production on the new material.

In early 2004 the Dynamic Duo once again returned to the Paris based recording studio le laboratoire where by March of 2004 vocal tracks had been completed and final mixes followed in August 2004. They were driven by their own personal demons to create their master piece an 11 track opus that has it's release in 2005 titled "THE DEATH OF VENUS 292".

ELECTRA-KILL consists of two core members R.S. Saidso and Kill X who write, record, and produce all of their own music. For this process they have no need for a full band. A full band will be assembled to perform all of the material live when that time comes.

* The first 1000 CD's pressed of "THE DEATH OF VENUS 292" are a special edition cd with a bonus track, this track is the Re-Mix of the first single "MINT GIRL" which was done by The Dead Sexy Inc. from Paris, France. After this pressing is sold out this track will no longer be available on this release.

Electra-Kill - The Death of Venus 292
author: JZBlackICE - (Jay Shah)
This album is an electrifying and industrial mix of absolute metal and grinding that leaves a taste of addictive grit and elegant degredation in your ears. Every track offers a feeling and sense of edgy and melodic joy that is brought about by sensational guitar playing and beats that pound in the head making the listener beg for more. The singing and lyrics of every track is mesmorizing and has clear messages that have perfect transition into the music. A blend of hardcore singing and messages of lust and sin with grinding guitar and synthesizer riffs that are pure un-adulterated BLISS and Apocalyptical JOY. Electra-Kill's CD is just plain addictive and has perfect mixes of rough, edgy, hardcore tones and sounds that brings out the raunchy pleasure in music that is difficult to produce in the music industry. Each track has its own tone and sound to it, but is entertaining and abrasively shocking in themselves. Perfect rock, lyrics, and sounds that keep ME coming back for more. Pleasure from chaos and distorted yet kinky hardcore music. Good for what lies dormant in most of us in life. Good or bad???? It doesn't matter. Electra-Kill has stolen my heart and broken it with GREAT JOY!!! Love it, and will for a very long time. Thank you. - Jay - JZBlackICE - Electra-Kill Fan

Electra - Kill C.D review!
author: Murdok Hyde
What are critics saying about the new Electra-Kill album? Well, I for one AM a critic and I am here to give an honest and well thought out opinion about this new and wonderful sound from this glorious and pretty band named Electra - Kill. The new album in which I have studied over and over, Is well placed and thought out, It is very clean, And the punches are right in the gut, Where you need them. This album sort of takes me back to Europe to the beginning of the Synth/Rock sound. The lyrics are in your face and mostly straight to the point as far as I could tell. Overall, I give this album a 4 simply because nobody gets a 5. It is a great album and definitely worth paying the money for. This is a band that is constantly progressing and I hope to see, And hear, MUCH more of them in the near future. Oh yah, Did I mention, How pretty they are? Ha Ha

Industrial Music At It's Best
author: Liam Nicholson
The Death of Venus 292 is in my opinion one of the most influentual and creative albums in the last 10 years. The melodic voice of RS Saidso, mix inventively with the synth, guitars, and drum programming sounds of Kill X. Electra-Kill infuse industrial, techno and metal into thier music, to create this audio masterpiece. This is a must for fans of Marilyn Manson and Nine Inch Nails.
