ELECTRIC CRUSH is a five piece 'Modern/Alternative Rock' band from Texas. Their sound is reminiscent of Nickleback, Switchfoot, Stone Temple Pilots and Incubus... with influences by bands like Matchbox 20, Lifehouse, Maroon 5 and U2.

“EC” has a commercial rock sound with pop hooks.

Electric Crush is currently playing throughout the U.S., and have performed at various U.S. festivals with the likes of Nickleback, Three Days Grace, Black Crowes, LIVE, Default, Sammy Hagar, Blue October, Steppenwolf, REO Speedwagon, Wolfmother, Black Stone Cherry, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and many others. Their dynamic live performances have helped propel the band to the forefront of rock music in Texas.

The band has recorded 3 albums to date… the 2003 self-titled debut album ‘Electric Crush’, and their February 2005 sophomore release, ‘The Green Album’ both selling out of their initial run and are scheduled for re-press. The bands latest project, a power-packed third album, ‘The Human Frequency’ shows enormous growth as a band and as songwriters.

After seeing the band perform live at the 2006 Rockin’ The Rally festival in Sturgis, South Dakota, former MatchboxTwenty band member Adam Gaynor took such an interest in the band that he signed on as co-manager and has begun to gather and produce new material with the band to propel them to the next level.

“It was a pretty easy decision”, says Gaynor on joining the organization. “Basically I saw them rip a stage apart at Sturgis. At the time, there wasn’t that many people there, but they performed like there was 50,000. You don’t see bands perform like that. The band is LARGE, they have hooks, they are rock stars and I am going to enjoy this process very much. I expect them to have MAJOR interest by the beginning of 2007.”

Adam and the band are currently in pre-production in Los Angeles and will be recording tracks for the bands fourth album. Electric Crush will be making several L.A. appearances at the Viper Room and throughout the west coast during the recording sessions, beginning in October 2006.

They continue a west coast swing in late 2006 with a U.S. tour set for early 2007.

The LIVE performance is what defines a great Rock Band – and EC delivers a powerful performance with all the excitement and charisma of a polished, veteran act. Lead singer Shane DiGeorge, possesses a star quality that hasn’t been seen since the likes of Bono from U2, and lead guitarist / black belt martial artist ZERO amazes fans everywhere when he performs a back flip off the stage and into the orchestra pit (with his guitar) – never missing a beat.

ELECTRIC CRUSH won best “Modern Rock” band at the 2005 “Rockies” Los Angeles Music Awards, and appeared in the National broadcast of ‘True Music’ hosted by MTV’s Katie Daryl. Additionally, the band has appeared in the movie ‘CLASH’ by Daniel Zirilli / Warner Brothers and most recently shot a new music video for the 40th anniversary Star Trek movie entitled, ‘STAR TREK: Of Gods And Men’, starring Nichelle Nichols ("Uhura"), Walter Koenig ("Chekov") and Alan Ruck ("Spin City").

With fan support from Seattle to Chicago, New York to Florida, Texas, California and many points between – the word is out about ELECTRIC CRUSH Check out their www.myspace.com site and see for yourself.
