“Feedback” continues The Electric Prunes long history of innovation, creativity and outright weirdness. This “Feedback” loop offers up a full psychedelic bonfire of tremolo, fuzz, and attitude while managing to make each song in this eclectic collection a unique and individual experience. This is the real thing; played as only those who need help could play it. If there is such a thing as psychedelic/garage rock this is it. The Electric Prunes, on record and in concert, show that the legendary 60’s spirit and music is alive and well and waiting to tweak your eardrums Warning: Electric Prunes exposure is not for the weak of heart or mind. “Feedback” – lust in a long line.

Prunes locate fountain of youth in Feedback
author: Hi-Tech Magazine Athens, Greece March 2007
" The Electric Prune's new effort, like all their 00's releases on PruneTwang, is trying to eliminate the passage of time and faithfully reproduces the original 60's psychedelic sounds. This new album, available in limited edition, will truly fill emotionally the soul of every dedicated Prune fan. It has a fair amount of tremolo and feedback, creating a lower sound profile than the previous album California of 2004. James Lowe's and Mark Tulin's production is as simple and clear as the prototypes were, back in the 60's.
Only the "lightened" lyrics of "African Bees" looks unfamiliar to me in the whole album's atmospere which is fully decorated with gems like "I'll Give You Feedback" "Morphine Drip" and "Hello Out There". The Electric Prunes are now totally free from the heavy load of "Too Much To Dream" and "Get Me To The World On Time", enjoying every single moment of their music like it was the final one. That's why they remain fresh and young." TAKIS KREMMIDIOTIS

Don't play this thing in your car!

It (Hello Out There) has a driving beat and enough guitar that I'm glad to be listening to it at home. Since the police have been strictly enforcing the speed limits in my area ....
By the fourth song I couldn't help thinking about U2. It's not the song itself, it's the way every time that U2 releases a new album, it sounds so radically different from the previous outings that you can't believe they are changing again. And after you've really listened to it a few times, you go back to the other recordings and realize that it is not so different as the others but has become a part of them as well, unifying everything in their uniqueness.
