Album Notes

The Electric Surfers, consisting of Mel Arausa (lead vocals, acoustic guitar and piano), Mark Ciaburri (drums, vocals and percussion), Ray Hayes (bass) and Mark Jackson (electric and acoustic guitars), are all long time Maui residents and have played in various bands and venues on the island for many years. Three of us are avid surfers (thus the name), with the fourth one enjoying the sport more from the comfort of his ocean front home, which is where we rehearse and record our music.


Our music (all original songs) reflects the influences we grew up with including The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Led Zepplin, Pink Floyd, The Eagles and The Allman Brothers. We hope you enjoy our music!
