Dian Hu is a slambient space symphony and more melodic than previous Electric Tiger releases. On this CD, Electric Tiger explores sound for its own sake with a mental reference to the imagination of an Electric Tiger loose in the vastness of China. Woden Thoth provides the electric basses, electric mandolin and backwards poison guitar; Red Eyed Coyote supplies thematic input on electric guitars; Pinki Li trommels out electronic percussion and keyboards as the Electric Tiger dreams about prowling around pagodas, stalking pandas and villagers (poor unfortunate villager), energizing things.
