Album Notes

In essence, Elegant Camel is a fusion of Electro/Ambient style tracks combined with freestyle lyrics and vocals. While some lyrics are pre written, most are a free flowing stream of consciousness improvised on the spot.

Symbolizing the Band is the camel himself. The camel is a true son of the desert. He's seen it all, been everywhere, done everything and has found an almost Zen like balance within.
Imagine if you will a camel traveling the universe and dimensions, both physical and emotional and sending back impressions of what it is he sees...a galactic hitchhiking camel.


The Camels


The Original Camel: Itay Swissa was born in Israel in the town of Dimona.
Itay comes from a musical family and now continues the tradition with this, his debut album: "Lost in my own Mind".
At the present Itay works as a sound designer and musician at "Shapa" studios in Ramat Aviv, Israel.


The American Camel: Z. Fohrman was born in the USA but has lived in Israel for most of his life. He works a voice artist and a writer. For the most part Z. likes to rant and rave about social imbalances and injustices, but has agreed to keep his big mouth shut for the duration of this project.

The British Camel: Emily Bennett, is a talented singer, violinist and sitar player from Britain. She currently lives and works in Israel, performing with Amiram Inc.
Without a doubt, this flame haired British beauty is the one who puts the elegant in Elegant Camel.
