ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Elevationists serve as the standard risen in the midst of the enemy’s flood. They live for their name sake lifting up the name of Jesus as He draws all men unto Him. Very lyrical with a very visual style, Elevationists paint very vivid pictures for the listener to see. It is necessary that the listener takes into consideration that this group is not merely here to entertain, but to compel the believer and the sinner alike to the point of desperation for Jesus Christ. With three members (Aerologic, Word Perfect and Ill Comprehension), Elevationists invite you to go higher. God is amazing and they are musical proof.

The founder, James Hazley is a 23 year old father and husband. James, commonly known as BJ, is part of a family deep rooted in the word of God. His mother, Trina Hazley, is pastor and co-founder of Wings of Victory church in Columbus Ohio. Upon losing his father at the age of 12, BJ continues to carry out the vision and remain a leader, both to his family and the Elevationists. Being married with a child at such a young age has rearranged his priorities; none the less, Ill Comprehension is still very much involved in the ministry.

Taelor Gray, the second eldest member of the Elevationists (22) is an incredible lyricist, but more importantly a man of God. He is a college graduate of The Ohio State University with his degree in strategic communications. Taelor is considered to be the most intellectual of the three, with an elaborate vocabulary and a strong knack for consistency with his words, or rather, Gods words through him. Taelor is also a youth minister under the direction of his father and pastor, Elder Arthur L. Gray Jr. of High Praise International Fellowship in Worthington, Ohio. With a passion to renounce the kingdom of God through rap, while denouncing the kingdom of hip hop, Taelor is a leader in a generation of followers.

Christon Gray is the youngest member of the group at age 20. Chris, also known as Aerologic, is pretty much the last link needed to create musical genius. Blessed with many talents, Chris is the third voice of the group as well as the producer. He is also an actor, singer and God taught musician. He is never afraid to travel to places outside of rap, yet never afraid to take rap along with him. Chris is a student at the Columbus College of Art and Design in Columbus, Ohio majoring in industrial as well as graphic design. Bringing a blend of jazz, classical, and many other genres of music to the table, he strives to create a musical world that reflects the emotions and visual images being presented through the lyrics of Elevationists, as well as beats that make room for the message to be spoon fed.
