Album Notes

Elfi Snow, a New York City / Minneapolis based pop rock band, writes and performs original music integrating a variety of genres including country, reggae and punk. Your Face is professionally produced and mastered by Andre Fratto of Great Waters Music in New York, and mixed by Grammy Award Winning Tracking & Mix Engineer, Technician Ron Allaire.

In 2005, artist Kristen Copham (aka Elfi Snow) and bassist Erik Asp (Victoria Williams, Original Harmony Ridge Creek Dippers) moved from Minnesota to New York. Copham paints the portraits featured on the album at NY Studio Gallery in the Lower East Side of Manhattan, also known as a hot spot for rock and roll. The band has played The Baggot Inn, The Knitting Factory, the Pussy Cat Club, the Slipper Room, Rockwood Music Hall and other venues.

Elfi Snow’s drummer Tom Cook (The Magnolias) and guitarist Mike Mann (Lights Out Committee) are based in Minnesota, while a second drummer Mark “Thunder” Anderson (AM) and guitarist Dan “Danimal” Lorette are based in New York. Keyboardist Sharad Shanbhag of New York went to the University of Minnesota, so frequently travels to the Midwest with the band for shows at such venues as The Turf Club, Lee’s Liquor Lounge, 331 Club, the Hexagon, the Uptown Bar and other locations.
