Album Notes

"Elfonía is back with their second release and stronger than ever!" - Marcel Haster, Progressiveworld.net

"A sonic journey that leads you to imagine majestic landscapes" - German García, Oz Mag

An album to loose yourself into! In This sonic landscape, Elfonía brings elements from jazz, progressive and post rock into their ethereal and alluring sound. The result is a combination of calm, melodic passages with heavy guitar riffs and highly dramatic moments.

Marcela Bovio's sweet and emotional vocal melodies guide you through the album's versatile compositions, which rest over the sophisticated rhythm section composed of Pablo González Sarre (bass) and Javier Garagarza (drums). Alejandro Millán's elegant keyboard arrangements and Roberto Quintanilla's heavy guitar textures provide depth and richness to the tracks. To top it all, delicate violin and concertina passages add a nostalgic feel.

A sonic experience that cannot be missed!

This cd is even better than I imagined, I bought it because I knew the singer Marcela due to her other musical collaborations, but I discovered a wonderful cd, a perfect mixture between progressive rock and jazz, great melodies and of course a Marcela and her divine voice.

Excellent - far exceeded expectations

The title and band name conjure up an image of pastoral gentleness. But the reality is an awesome power rock album in the same vein as Stream of Passion. I bought this CD on the strength of Marcella's involvement with Stream of Passion. Love it. Keep up the good work.

Very good CD. Nice clean and high voice from Marcella, love the art work. Recommandation for all who know Stream of Passion, same vocalist. Piano work gives the music a nice touch. More Progrock/metal then Gothic but worth a purchase.
