by Eli Cook

Blues-metal. Delta blues vocals and lyrical imagery combined with punishing riff-rock and complex arrangements that blend musicianship with high energy performance. Imagine Alice in Chains with Muddy Waters singing.

Album Notes
Eli Cook's power trio combines the guitar and vocals of Eli Cook with the talents of bassist Eric Yates and drummer Jordan Marchini. Over one year in the making, ElectricHolyFireWater offers over 60 minutes of their original blend of relentless, bass-heavy blues metal.

Eli Cook grew up on the blues: Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, the Wolf, and Mississippi John Hurt. He cut his first blisters playing Lightnin' Hopkins' Texas shuffle, found his voice listing to vinyl Hooker, achieved his tone through Stevie Ray, and received artistic and song-writing inspiration form such artists as Tom Waits, Bob Dylan, Chris Cornell, and Jimi Hendrix.

That singer has to be black!

Great stuff
This is how blues has to sound these days, great stuff from this young white boy, who sounds like a old black man!

What's Cookin'
Eli and the boys take you on a trip to the dark side of blues rock, sit back and enjoy it.Perhaps he doesn't have the guitar prowess of Zakk but the blistering vocals more than make up for it.This band rocks, make the next CD a live one please.

Lee Baines

Eli\'s the man!
Looking forward to seeing these guys live!

Think Zakk Wylde!
Great cd of blues heavy riff rock! I love this dudes deep vocals and heavy riff guitar playing. I wish Zakk Wylde sounded more like Eli Cook! I look forward to his next release and his tour of Ohio:-)"Rip It Hard"

Freaking fantastic
This self-produced album is one of the best I've heard in years. Cook updates classic and Zeppelin-style blues with more modern influences like Audioslave, and the result is hard-rocking magic. Play it loud, and if you can, go see this kid live, so you can say you heard him play before he got huge.

Electric Holy Firewater
I've been listening to blues and rock for fifty years, and can remember hearing Hendrix on my tiny transistor radio for the first time in 1967. I havent really heard anything in the same category until I put this cd on the first time. Eli's live shows, especially when he heads out into the Ether, improvising with feedback, are amazing. Not to mention his gut wrenching vocals. This kid is the real thing, grounded in the blues, his feet on the ground, his heart in the music, and his guitar rocking into the Stratosphere!!!!! If you dont buy this you might as well shoot your dog and burn down your house, and leave your lover, but if you do, then you really gonna need it...
