El Jefe vs. Demons is a NY based Horror.Surf.Death.Rock band that was formed in early 2006, shortly after Scott had left the drum seat for the band Psycho Charger. El Jefe vs. Demons sound combines aspects of surf, psychobilly & good old rock n roll into a bloody trail of musical death!
Scott destroys Vox & Drums, as well as writing and performing all the material for the band. Scott’s joined in the studio & for live gigs by a rotating group of musicians. “Death, Blood And The Guts” (2008 release) is the bands first full-length release, following the self-titled demo that was released in late 2006.
El Jefe vs. Demons have played gigs at: Otto’s Shrunken Head (NYC), The Bell House (Brooklyn), Hank’s Saloon (Brooklyn), The Hook (Brooklyn-closed).
In the summer of 2009 the band teamed up with infamous film director Joey Angerone, for the band’s debut video for the song “Meant to be Creepy” followed by the video for "The Feast" in 2011.
And finally in the summer 2012, the "Meant To Be Creepy EP" was a limited mp3 only release. The EP continues the usual mayhem you've come to expect from the band!
