Snowdance is a calendar album. Its twelve original songs — one for each month of the year — unfold against the backdrop of the seasons, with narrators splashing in springtime puddles, playing neighborhood baseball games in the summer, plotting to get themselves promoted to the “Grownup Table” at Thanksgiving, and desperately trying to make it snow during one dismally green February.
