First of all, would like to point out that I am an axeman myself. Have been for 30 years. This I feel gives me credibility in reviewing the cd titled EMPIRES. Graham Elks and Phil Crewe are the wizards behind this masterpiece. Upon first listen, I was blown away....immediately!This cd transcends the boundaries of normal run-of-the-mill gtr. playing. Each trk. spills with emotion,structure,technical perfection,and most importantly,musicianship worthy of the title extraordinary. I cannot emphasize this enough. I have over 3600cds and this rates right up there with the best. Check out the samples. Am sure you will be overwhelmed and driven to buy the cd as I was. The real bonus, is the fact that the samples don't even come close to reflecting just how impressive the music is. Once you receive the cd, you'll know what I mean. It's eargasmic glory!
