Album Notes

The first song is a true story about EW's grandmother. To see the images of Eisenstein's cinematic recreation of the demonstration, google "Odessa Steps." The third song celebrates Sunnyside Gardens in Queens, NY, built by JW's grandfather, Henry Wright. The seventh song commemorates EW's book about Roni Stoneman, First Lady of the Bluegrass Banjo. The tenth song is quite imaginary: EW and JW's daughter Jennifer was in fact married in a registry office in Japan. The twelfth song is the true story of the courtship of JW's sixth great-grandparents in the late seventeenth century.
