Album Notes

Ellen Sweetman has been teaching over 20 years as a Montessori teacher, choir director and classroom music teacher. She has also taught private piano and vocal lessons. She holds a B.M.E.from Southeastern Louisisna University, Montessori certification and a lifetime teaching certificate. When not in the classroom with music, Ellen loves to perform; most recently as the Wicked Witch in The Wizard Of Oz and a Pick-A Little lady from The Music Man! Her students have just finished production of a world premier children’s musical, “A Drum, A Drum”. Ellen loves to present at conferences!
©Ribbons-n-Rhythmz was designed as a resource in her classroom but soon was being requested by friends and fellow teachers, so her company, Wonderful Muzic LLC was born. ©Ribbons-n-Rhythmz is one of the first products to be offered . The system of movement cue cards allow the adaptation to any music and the flexibility to be used over and over! It spans from age 3 -103 !
She currently teaches music to over 700 students in the Hammond Public Schools, choir director at First United Methodist Church in Ponchatoula, Louisiana and officer in her local Orff chapter, Red Stick.
