I've had the pleasure of seeing the Elliot Deutsch Big Band live, and now on its debut album. This is youngest, liveliest jazz you'll find in LA, and the CD is well worth the buy. A fresh take on Big Band while still keeping it real, Mr. Deutsch does not disappoint.
