notes
I began playing guitar at age 15. Even then the drive to do something creative was evident - 'the guitar was there for me to write songs, it's why I picked it up and it's why I won't put it down. I play a kind of 'unfluffy' acoustic music. I tend to find acoustic music these days tends to be full of people with 'pretty voices' playing 'pretty songs', this is an attempt to get away from that. I also have a heavy interest in poetry, not the english tea party kind but the blood and guts, fire and lightning kind. When I'm not doing my solo stuff I front indie rock band 'groundless' you can listen to them if you want at www.myspace.com/groundless
