Elliot Matsu's second release, “The Value of Power,” is due to be released this spring on Fire-tone Records. It is a follow up to his first full-length release “2nd Avenue” (also on Fire-tone Records). This record deals with the internal spiritual and emotional conflicts that are
uncovered and encountered during our development as human beings. The production and arrangement attempts a return to a raw simplicity, musicality, and primal emotion. Elliot is working with Grammy Award winning mix engineer Ben Arrindell, who lends an invaluable ear to the project. Ben has worked with Cypress Hill, Mary J. Blige, and The Temptations, among many others. This record is guaranteed to make you cry or your money back. Not really.

Elliot was born in Chicago and studied music at the Suzuki School of Music from age 5 and later studied guitar with guitar wizard George Bellas. He has had the opportunity to work and play with some of the finest and coolest musicians and producers anywhere in the US
including Jonathan Appell (Carole King, Bette Midler), Don Fury(Helmet, Slipknot, Agnostic Front), Shawn Pelton (Sheryl Crowe, David Byrne), Vinnie Zummo (Shawn Colvin, Joe Jackson), Steve Wolf(Annie Lennox, Avril Lavigne), Rick Skatore (24-7 Spyz), Ben Zwerin,
