"Infinite Space: The Architecture of John Lautner" is the wonderful documentary, directed by Murray Grigor, about one of architecture's modern giants. The film focuses on some of Lautner's greatest and most emblematic structures, including the Chemosphere and his "Googie" diners. Like the great breadth of Lautner's architectural designs, the film's musical score covers a very wide range, from sweeping lyricism to knotty modernism. Jayne McKay writes, the "haunting music was a wonderful compliment to the wonderful architecture that [Lautner] created."
