Album Notes

This magical ensemble incorporates the spirit of Celtic and the soul of the American jazz idiom, blended with other international music into a collection of original works and traditional sounds that will take you into the 21st century.

The performances of this 5 piece instrumental ensemble are influenced by the music of the British Isles-with a twist.

Popular fiddlist Theresa Ellis performs with some unusual instruments, along with the traditional acoustic violin. Endorsed Artist with Zeta Music Systems, she plays the Zeta MIDI Jazz Violin, and the Zeta Strados electric violin. Composer/arranger Jimmy Franklin is featured on various key-boards, and composer Jim Logue on saxophones, wind controller, penny whistle and percussion. Steve Wesson covers guitar and bass guitar. Mark "Hondo" Hahn plays a drumset that is electric, but sounds clearly acoustic.

"June Apple/Kitchen Girl" from their Traveler album is featured on a compilation CD released with the monthly publication Keltika Magazine, March 1998, distributed in Italy, Germany, and Spain.

"[The band] provides a delightful evening with a broad range of Irish-influenced music performed with a high level of skill and real flair for showman-ship. It's an experience that I recommend highly to any music lover." - Don Baker - Deseret News
