ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
When, Culture, Freedom, Dance and Rhythm collide it gives birth to Al-kebulan (Ethnic Dance). This is a dance piece that brings the drums of an ancient past into a jazz fused, house rhythm that forces you to dance. Rich Harmonies, a strong yet funky bass line, the spoken word of Dr. Ray Hagins and to top all of that off, there is the sultry vocals of none other than William Swann. Once again, they have actually painted a picture in song of a distant yet ancient place of pride, power and DANCE.
Hold on as they take you down the Nile to one of the greatest parties in song you will ever experience.

Alkebulan - Definition
Did you know that the ancient name of Africa was Alkebulan? "Among the many names Alkebu-lan ["mother of mankind" or "garden of eden"] was called are the following: "Ethiopia, Corphye, Ortegia, Libya and Africa - the latest of all. Alkebulan is the oldest and the only one of indigenous origin. It was used by the Moors, Nubians, Numidians, Khart-Haddans (Carthagenians), and Ethiopians. Africa, the current misnomer adopted by almost everyone today , was given to this continent by the ancient Greeks and Romans. "
