A hard swinging tribute to the Godfather of Vocalese (Eddie Jefferson) and some of his disciples featuring an all star organ group including some heavy alumni of the the 1960's Blue Note sound headed up by Jazz organist Eddie Landsberg and 2001 Downbeat poll nominee Giacomo Gates. A historic session with some heavy players ! Eddie Landsberg received his first organ lesson from Shirley Scott, then went on to an intensive mentorship from Big John Patton. He has played around the world, including Sweden, Germany and Japan and was the subject of a 2 part concert broadcast in Radio Sweden. He is the author of several Jazz improv books including "The 7 Secrets of Jazz and Soul."
