Peter – described as calm, imaginative and at his best when alone. He had always been keen on the technical background of making music before he started the project of Ember Made and decided to make music himself.
During the late nineties he worked as a sound technician at live performances and after some time he came to understand that in order to be a good audio engineer he must have a deeper knowledge of music. Around that time he started taking music lessons and playing bass guitar.
The idea of Ember Made started taking shape around the end of 2007 when he started experimenting with some musical ideas – and realizing the need of a vocalist and lyricist for his music…
Melinda – described as creative, open-minded and loves writing about both interpersonal and worldly problems. Ever since she was a child she’s been fond of singing - literally taking every opportunity to do so throughout her school years.
As she was exposed to a great amount of music thanks to her father she quickly became interested in playing a musical instrument and she started playing the recorder. In her early twenties she started playing the tin whistle when she became a great fan of Irish music. Also, she always loved scribbling down her ideas and impressions in English – being an English teacher by occupation.
Though they’ve known each other for years with Peter and both have had a deep passion for music, she only joined him to create Ember Made at the beginning of 2008.
