That is what I would have thought had the hauntingly plaintive yet uplifting flute melodies caught my attention without a proper introduction courtesy of a personal communication to Spirit of Change and information packet from artist/composer/producer Ej Mills Brennan. The Nakai comparison is complimentary but except for the fact that both flutists have fine-tuned a talent endowed by Creator, the uniqueness and feminine sensitivity of Ej's second collection begins to distinguish her personal artistry with unmistakable clarity.
