Album Notes

Emely is an artist living in Connecticut. She has been singing for most of her life. Emely's biggest music influences have to be her parents. From an early age, she could be found playing on her Dad's drum kit or listening to Mozart with her Mom.

Emely studied theatre at New York University, but never stopped singing. While on breaks from school, Emely would jam with her Dad's band, Hardwood. As time passed, she started singing more and more and now is a full-fleged member of the group.

Emely's voice has been compared to Janis Joplin, Stevie Knicks, Bonnie Raitt and Susan Tedeschi. Her influences include Joni Mitchell, Bob Dylan, Etta James, Billie Holiday and Tracy Chapman.

This CD marks Emely's first release. It came out as a response to her fan's desire to hear her standards on CD. Each track is a song that her fans have been enjoying for many years. We hope you will enjoy them too!

REVIEWS

Great singer, great songs!

This CD is a lot of fun. Emely and her band tackle a real variety of classic songs and do justice to every one. The quality of her vocals and the musicianship of her band is very high. I love the way the album is sequenced so you get a real fine mix of ballads and rockers. Well done Emely!
