David Conley - Acoustic Guitar, Penny Whistle, Flute, Acoustic Bass, Percussion
Luke Brodine - Acoustic Guitar, Accordion, Bouzouki, Mandolin, Percussion

Sisters Robin and Kristin studied Irish traditional music at the University of Limerick in Ireland in 2001. Since then they have sought to share their love of Irish music here in their home state. The band was formed when they connected with area musicians David—who was captivated by Celtic music and learned the pennywhistle while living in England—and Luke, who has been a part of the folk music scene in Nashville and Seattle.

I recently heard Emerald Road perform at a wedding and liked it so much that I ordered this CD. Good Irish music, great for listening at home.

Irish At It's Best!

I have had the pleasure of hearing each member of this band play on numerous occasions. Their talent and attention to detail make this Album quite impressive. The opening track captures you immediately with the eery tone then immediately takes you on a roller coaster of an irish melody. My personal favorite is the final track. It's one of my favorite traditional melodies, and this version is by far my favorite of all I've heard! It begins so simply then continues to build into the sounds of a small Irish symphony. Please buy one . . . actually by three and share it with others. Thanks for such great music ladies and gents!
