Album Notes

Amy is currently on hiatus from performing and show organizing. However, this past year was full of colorful singer/songwriter shows that she produced and performed at most of. Here's a sampling of recent shows that were lots of fun. Any artists mentioned are highly recommended by Amy to take note of.

RECENT PAST SHOWS

Tuesday, May 18th 9-11pm @ CNOTE
Amy will play a half hour set along with half hour sets by Bobby Lynn, Leslie Mendelson & Jack Hardy. This event is free and immediately follows the singer/songwriter open mike. CNOTE is located at Avenue C between 9th & 10th Streets.

CATHARSIS SHOWS

Tues, May 25th @ Caffe Sha Sha, 8pm - 10:15 pm, FREE
510 Hudson between Christopher & West 10th, 212-242-3021
This CATHARSIS will include Boston based singer/songwriter Rosanna Lee, Aaron Gilmartin & Dorothy Potter (aka B1), Rebecca Martin who usually plays much grander venues and who is a "secret" guest at this show, wild-eyed song poet Frank Tedesso, the amazing Athena Reich, and fabulous singer/songwriters Emily Curtis, Antje Duvekot, Leslie Mendelson & Kathleen Pemble. The ubiqitous Jack Hardy may also pop in for a special guest appearance.

Beautiful sincere acoustic effort that represents all that's right with music to

Pure, refreshing voice reminiscent of Jewel or Eva Cassidy... Beautiful sincere acoustic effort that represents all that's right with music today. And I haven't even bought the CD yet- I can tell that from the samples! A breath of fresh air in today's world of music as mass marketing. Genuine voice and lyrics that are a cry for what music should be.

Evocative and haunting.

These are beautiful songs, sung well and excellently written. "Walking in Gozo" is my favorite, very evocative. Simple production, and upfront vocals. That's all ya need, right?
