This CD, Quiet Lady Blue, is an anthology mainly composed of
collections of pictures, sound and poetry that were released on net-radio once a month.
The band \"eMfamily\" is basically made up of two persons, myself, Eriko
and my husband, Mitsuru. However, on this album, Quiet Lady Blue, our son, Hayato, who was three years old at the time of this recording, also joined us on the vocals. We also invited SAORI NAKAGAWA and GINA to help us out with some of the vocals this time. We want to extend a special thanks to them!
QUIET LADY BLUE, is simple and makes no proclamations of profoundness, but attempts to express in music, the emotions of everyday life; happiness, anxiety, hope and joy for a future, together.
The tempo of some of the music is also intended to represent the rhythm of a typical day in the life of a person raising a young child and handling the rather routine and mundane choirs of household duties, but finding joy and pleasure of ‘being in life’ while doing so.
Some of the rhythms of our music are inspirations from our three year old son who was so enchanted with the rhythmic sounds of trains here in Japan. Additionally,track,#13, Maybe You’ll Get Better Soon, was inspired by the real life experience of having to endure watching our son suffer in the hospital for one week with no real diagnosis of the problem.
Since track #12, “Here,Now”, is a personal favorite of mine, let me share a brief interpretation of what I wanted to express..
Right now, at this moment, we are locked together in time,
whether we know one another or not, this moment of time we will experience,\"NOW \" together.
Whether we enjoy the time together, or not, whether we are happy or unhappy;that moment in time will always exist in memory, yours, mine, or both..
So why not enjoy the time together and be happy?
All we really have in the end, are those moments in time which, eventually, defines our entire lives…
So, we, hope all of you can find joy, pleasure and happiness in your lives that lasts forever....eMfamily

\"My first impression of this album was one of \'nostalgia\'. Listening to it made me recall the feelings of the strength, and the gentleness of having the emotional support of living near a loving family. It\'s something that I had long forgotten since leaving home and living alone for so many years.
Although, I don\'t think that it important to classify music into categories, but if I were to classify, Quiet Lady Blue, I would put it in the genre of HEALING MUSIC. And, “Quiet Lady Blue” should be considered amongst the BEST of them.\"-Shin Kakinuma, Artist
