What do you get when you cross Dwight Yoakam, The Beatles, and The Rolling Stones ? I don't know, but it would probably sound a lot like "Stay Here"; a collection of tunes that will leave you feeling you've discovered something unique and special. Skillfully melding americana-rock-country with rotund girth, it will leave you reaching for the volume knob. Emile Millar and the players on this record are clearly top notch pros. Diverse, epic at times, full of soul, and passion-fused, I find myself discovering something new each time I listen to this record. Right now I'm hooked on track 7 (Miles and Miles), but last week I savored track 9 (I've Put My Time In). What will it be next week ? Maybe "Working Stiff" if the boss-man is getting you down. 5 stars.
