Album Notes

Emma get wild started in January of 2003. Initially, their lo-fi acoustic set gained widespread underground acclaim, both locally and nationally, culminating in being awarded 3rd best demo on national Spanish radio “Disco Grande-RNE3 2005.” The full band line-up appeared in 2005 in time to record and release their first album “Hey Hurricane” in May 2006. Memorable live performaces include support slots for Paul Collins, Bettie Servert and Aaron Thomas and festival performances include participated the “Festival Femina” (Madrid), “Minifestival de Música Independiente” (Barcelona), and the “Tributo a los Republicanos” (Valencia). Recently they have had a number of songs on the soundtrack to the series “Question de sexo” a national TV series.
