Waiting to be Heard is Emma Jo's spectacular debut CD, includes nine original solo-acoustic songs and an unlisted remix of Hurricane Katrina-inspired "The Waters Rise" featuring additional musicians Nick and Kris Schnebelen.

Although Emma Jo now has her own band and is in the process of recording her second album with them, her solo effort still stands up as an excellent acoustic album, with strong hooks that will stay in your head for hours and mature, introspective lyrics.
