by Emmi Chen

Tough, dreamy, with a voice like whisky when you need it the most, she sings you a song that you want to drive off with, a song you want to take out for a beer and listen to all night.

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Look here’s a map. Look here we are. Somewhere between the South and the city. Which
city? Whichever we wanted.

In this city there’s a train and I’m waiting. In this city everybody’s got something dirty.
Everybody’s got a reason to leave.

There are mornings and there are mornings. Every morning’s another day asking is the
season changing yet? Are we good to each other? Are we good?

Summer is here. Is gone again. Is another 4am night. An ocean you couldn’t see or one
you wouldn’t swim.

Maybe I’ll go before you. Someone’s not sailing. It isn’t me. Maybe I’ll learn to let go.

I’m looking back but not like that. Hand me my six string. We’ve got to keep going. You
see me but I can’t see anything. I only know the only home you got is the one you want.

I only know you’re not where I am. The world isn’t ending. Not like this.

It’s gonna be alright, darling. One foot in front of the other and onto the next train. Onto
the next season. Heading toward home. It’s gonna be alright.

We know this one.
