i was a psychology major in college and was very interested in how brain chemistry affects behavior. after college i continued this exploration in graduate school and earned a phd. in neuroscience. after that i did a couple of pot-docs, got married, and became pregnant with our daughter. i thought since i was pregnant it might be a good idea to get away from all the chemicals and radioactivity i worked with, so i decided that it was time to explore another avenue of brain function and behavior, hypnotherapy. i became certified as a hypnotherapist, be it a far cry from lab work, but i found it very interesting.

a few years later, i was in full swing of motherhood, along with most of my friends. my friends and i would frequently talk about how to help our children deal with different issues that they faced. we discovered that although there was quite a bit of information out there designed to help adults, there was hardly anything for children. a few of my friends asked me to make hypnosis tapes for their children. they wanted to help their kids with specific issues like improving self-esteem, changing study habits, and releasing issues from the past. claudette, my closest friend, kept saying you need to do more of this, you need to make these tapes on a bigger scale.

my son was born in 2001 and a short time after that claudette and i decided that we would embark on this wonderful adventure together. claudette, being the beautiful creative force behind these series and me taking care of the logisitcs.

i am honored to offer these audio series to the children of the world. we have truly been blessed to have the opportunity to share our vision. i am eternally grateful for all of those who have helped make this business possible.
