"The Enablers' songs are evocative ballads on love, regret, sadness, and loss, balanced by a wry sense of humor and understated, literate writing. There's not a falsely sung vocal, or an ill-wrought lyric." -- Peter Himmelman

Come Back Soon is a CD you'll play over....and over....and over.....and over...
author: John Edgell
Did you ever hear a song that had lyrics that you couldn't get out of your head for days? Well, Come Back Soon has several of those songs (Back on the Meds, for example). That the Enablers haven't been picked up by some major label is further proof that the music & radio biz is completely out to lunch. Barbara Hall's voice is Sheryl Crow with a twang, or a younger version Bonnie Raitt. Combine that gift with Mike Guidry's impressive guitar-playing, and song lyrics that are as observant as they are memorable, and this is a CD that you'll listen over....and over...and over, and then want to tell your friends about. The Enablers are but one smart, brave talent scout away from the national stage.

This CD is wonderful. This is so much better than the canned pop music being forced upon the public today. If you want something original buy it, if you want Britney Spears, you won't like it. Way to go Ms. Hall and the Enablers!!!!!

Great voice, wonderful songs
author: Marsha
I keep playing "Can't be long", but have managed to listen to the other songs as well. It's all well written and Ms. Hall's voice is outstanding. Keep up the good work.

GREAT Road trip CD!
author: Reece Michaelson
This is a GREAT road trip CD! It has outstanding instrumentation and arrangements, well-crafted songs that range from kick ass to sweet and achey (with a couple wry and dry ones in there for great fun), and vocals whose blending is so dead-on that the songs bypass the ear and go straight to the bloodstream.
Caution: maybe your first listen should be while you're stationary - I nearly rear-ended a guy I was so busy drumming on my dashboard! Buy this one now, before they start charging what they're really worth...
