This a great introduction into one of Sydney's exciting new acts.
author: grind
As Rachael's haunting voice begins in opener 4 you are instantly hooked into Endusk's sound. This a great introduction into one of Sydney's exciting new acts, who will soon stand alongside Cog in the recognition stakes.
There is a beautiful organic feel to Endusk's music with a great ebb and flow of rock riffs, funky bass and percussion. Preston (drums) and Michael (percussion) work well together to create one of the better rythmic backbones of rock acts on the local scene. It is this percussive element along with Rachael's voice that give Endusk a true point of difference to other local acts. This is not to down play Adrian (guitar) and James' (bass) position in the group. Adrian delivers inspired guitar playing whether it be the distorted acoustic chords of Moth or the flowing groove of Ecclesiasties bringing to mind Aenema era Tool. Lastly, is James laying down his thick funky bass sound that spirals itself between the rest to complete Endusk's original sound.
Those who have seen Endusk in a live enviroment know that it is impossible to capture their engaging sound on a disc, though this is a noble effort to begin with. If you are looking for something different and satisfying you could not do much better that purchasing this EP and help elevate this band to the recognition they deserve. An album is greatly anticipated.

Great new progressive rock band!!!!!!
author: StephenC
This CD and Band are a big surprise. I was expecting just another modern rock act. But this CD fits between hard rock and progressive metal. CDBaby states this band highlights percussion, but its not the drums or percussion that stands out. At first, the guitar playing comes across very progressive but also heavy, similar to Dream Theater. There are a lot of great riffs in .01. After a few spins, Rachel's vocals really take hold. Her voice initially strikes one as being a little different, but eventually you fall in love wit her sound. Each song has some good melodies. You'll find yourself huming tunes quite a bit throughout the day. Buy it!!!!
