Album Notes

There is a fervor building around singer / songwriter Anne Engel. After years of being a solo artist, Anne has put together a full band to help her record and promote her new CD, Endless Possibilities.

Anne is a gifted artist of integrity with the ability to appeal to a wide-ranging audience. Her lyrics touch on universal and deeply human concerns with raw emotional honesty and truth. Her songs are described as "personal and passionate" story songs that have a commonality everyone can relate to. Her words lead you on a ride through feelings of anger, vulnerability, shameless desire and true love; they demand that you feel something.

The first track on the disc, "Let it Happen" is a catchy-pop swing tune about a passionate hunger and longing that generates an incredible response from fans. Foreboding and emotional, "The Ride" is a true story about co-dependence and it's plagues on friendship. Organic yet raw and searing, "Crazed and Possessed" is a delicious song about an obsessive/dangerous attraction.

While "I'm Alright" adds a light hearted presence to the disc and makes use of some great rhythmic patterns and guitar atmospherics. Together these songs create a passionate record filled with songs that jump off the disc and into your heart.

REVIEWS

Simply stunning! Great voice, lyrics and guitar work...
author: Jim Billard
This CD is terrific from beginning to end. Not a bad cut to be found anywhere. The first cut, Let It Happen, starts this CD off with a bang. An uptempo rocker that sets the tone for the rest of the CD. Anne Engel's voice is a delight throughout from the forcefull vocals on Crazed And Possessed to the emotion she portrays on the title cut, Endless Possibilities. Jean-Pierre Durand's guitar work is flawless throughout and downright reminiscent of Stevie Ray Vaughn on the cut So Do I. The lyrics throughout are clean and honest and filled with emotion. This is a CD that you will keep coming back to hear over and over again.
