Album Notes

"In this fabulous collection of time-honored classics and less familiar, yet beautifully melodic music, Jon England's magnificently fluid and seemingly effortless style enriches whatever mood you are in. From the first notes of the ceaselessly evocative "Star Dust" to the closing notes of the solemn au revoir "Now Is The Hour" - these tunes (many the personal choice of Jon's British radio audiences) reflect some of the most memorable musical moments of the 20th century.

Finely orchestrated with Jon's own "Green Lounge" orchestra, each tune carries the listener along on a sweetly memorable musical journey from Hollywood to to Tin Pan Alley via Nashville, 70's soft-rock and quasi-clisscal pops genres. Make this delightful 'must-have' album one of your favorites .... you'll wear it out sharing it with friends and loved ones, of that I'm sure."

Sincerely, Hugh Caswell, Azurre Records

REVIEWS

Great Piano Music for easy listening.

Wow! What can a person say? Jon is absolutley marvelous to listen to. I used to be able to play the piano somewhat, but it was a strugle. I certainly envy people with this type of natural talent. And he seems to so enjoy it. As someone else mentioned, it brings back great memories of the style of Liberace. But I do believe that Jon far surpases him. Keep doing what you do best and making the rest of us happy to no end!
