Album Notes

Who are the English Brothers? Western Music Artist ! Singing and writing 'cowboy' music. They perform classic and original song of the west and provide a family friendly atmosphere 10 months of the year at the www.canyontrailchuckwagon.com in Canyon Lake, TX, near San Antonio.
They are brothers Greg, Wes, Ray and Gerald English, all born and raised in Texas. The brothers have been performing together in various combinations since the mid 1970s, bringing together finely-tuned vocal harmonies that only family members can achieve. For the past 22 years, Wes has been singing, yodeling, and playing bass and guitar for the Flying W Wranglers in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The group has not only played to audiences at the Flying W Ranch Chuckwagon, but performed in such venues as Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, Nashville Now, stock shows, and with various symphonies throughout the country. Wes has recorded over 18 western, gospel, and comedy albums with the Wranglers, which have sold world-wide.
Greg is the 'picker' in the group. Along with his smooth harmonies, he plays a mean 5-string banjo. As the original English Brothers, Greg and Wes entertained with music, stories, and humorous anecdotes.
Ray's rich lead and tenor vocals mesmerize as he conveys story through song.Ray joined brothers Greg and Wes for a time, making the duo a tight 3-part harmony. Ray also has a great spirit for worship leading.
Gerald, the youngest, has been gifted with a beautiful solo and harmony voice. He has sung with all the brothers over the years and adds wonderfully to the blend. Gerald is the witty one and his dry humor will leave you in stitches.
WE ARE “PERFORMANCE MINDED” AND PROMISE TO ALWAYS PRESENT A WHOLESOME, FUN LOVING VENUE OF COWBOY MUSIC THAT WILL SATISFY ALL AGES. WE PRIDE OURSELVES IN DELIVERING TASTEFUL HUMOR AND TRADITIONAL FAMILY VALUES.
We love keeping the 'great American cowboy' songs alive and everyone seems to love the 'old west'.
Happy Trails...

We love Wes English's deep voice. We do like these cd's, but not as much as one we got at Flying W ranch 15 years ago with Wes' singing.
