Album Notes

ENGLISH ECCENTRICS - a group of unconventional individuals from Great Britain. Including Suggs from Madness, Toyah Willcox and Brixton rap artist Asher Senator. ‘How To Dress Sensibly’ has been brought together by well known fashion guru and artist Helen David, who wanted to have an album of quintessentially English, lounge music to play in her studio. The album has fragments of speech made famous by great English eccentrics past and present, like Dame Edith Sitwell, Peter Cook, Peter Sellars, Sir Winston Churchill and George Formby snr, married to original music by producers James David and Ray Singer. ‘How To Dress Sensibly’ by English Eccentrics is released on Singer Records, May 1st.
