Grandma Rocks has done it again with another Award winning CD entitled” Grandma Rocks Passover. The album contains traditional favorites and exciting music written specifically for Passover. Our singers range from school children, to that wonderful Blues singer Catherine Russell, and our instrumentalists motivate us with that fun Klezmer sound. The rhythms get ya moving.. the songs will get ya singing and the story of Passover told by Neva Small (from Fiddler)will get ya listening. And, just like Arthur whom you’ll meet on the CD, you are invited to join us on a Passover journey filled with knowledge, fun and of course music! Music composed or arranged by the EMMY Award winning Elissa Oppenheim Schreiner and English translations and English lyrics written by the EMMY Award winning, Sunnie Miller. Our super Producer and arranger is another EMMY Award recipient Gary Schreiner who is also on keyboards. And what about that great Klezmer sound? Thanks to Paul Shapiro clarinet, Paul Livant Guitar, and Jim Mussen Drum, ya can’t keep Grandma down!
