Like jewels, there is only one in a sea of dust

A beautiful refreshment in a world of monotony.
I recently had the good luck of getting this album and to be honest, I was hesitant... The world of art is going through a huge problem and it's its lack of creativity.
When I put this album I expected more of the same: a beat, some people playing uninteresting-already-done notes and then next song, but I got a huge surprise.
This is one of these albums that are one of a kind, it has a touch of Cinematic Orchestra but the fact that there's a human being playing saxophone with a beautiful "Coltranish" touch makes this album an incredible one!
The solos are always interesting, the language of the sax mixed with the modern music always leaves you with the feeling of wanting more, but, like jewels, there is only one in a sea of dust.
The music, dynamic, always moving in the right direction and reaching climax along with the soloist make of this music a great example of communication.
The drummer is an incredible player! He definetly can listen to the rest and creates a beautiful beat in the athmosphere.
The keyboards could be richer (meaning the harmonies, as they are basically triads) but they create a very good filling and athmosphere.
I definetly recommend this album a go! It is a shame this group hasn't done anything since 2007, I would like to see an evolution of this project, I consider it something interesting and worth listening.
If you like good fusion, modern, with a great sound overall, this is the album for you.
