Hailing from Bergen, Norway, Christine Sandtorv, Inger-Lise Stroksen and Jannicke Larsen combine acoustic guitars and gorgeous vocal harmonies with blissful pop melodies to create a sound that is uniquely Ephemera's. Having received the Alarm Music Prize, Norweigan Grammy nominations (Best Pop Album for "Sun" in 2001, "Balloons and Champagne" in 2003) and Platinum-plus status in Norway, the girls just released records in Japan and the UK to much critical acclaim. Their songs can be heard throughout Scandinavia on MTV as well as throughout Europe on various compilation albums. Ephemera are now poised to bring their sound to the US and have already been featured in the Olsen Twin's latest film and album soundtrack "Getting There!" as well as the WB's "Felicity" and NBC's "Meet the Folks."
