Hailing from Bergen, Norway, Christine Sandtorv, Inger-Lise Stroksen and Jannicke Larsen combine acoustic guitars and gorgeous vocal harmonies with blissful pop melodies to create a sound that is uniquely Ephemera's. Having received the Alarm Music Prize, Norweigan Grammy nominations (Best Pop Album for "Sun" in 2001, "Balloons and Champagne" in 2003) and Platinum-plus status in Norway, the girls just released records in Japan and the UK to much critical acclaim. Their songs can be heard throughout Scandinavia on MTV as well as throughout Europe on various compilation albums. Ephemera are now poised to bring their sound to the US and have already been featured in the Olsen Twin's latest film and album soundtrack "Getting There!" as well as the WB's "Felicity" and NBC's "Meet the Folks."

Amazingly incredible. These girls are amazing, and this CD is the height of their talent. I can't keep it out of my CD player. It's one of those rare CDs you can listen through the entirety without skipping songs. Wonderful.

My Norwegian housemate brought this back from Bergen for me as a Christmas gift, and i must say it was a great choice. Of the 3 released, this album is the best indicator of Ephemera's distinctive sound. I wish the group every success in the future, and am thoroughly looking forward to the next CD.

Just picked up all 3 CDs after hearing about Ephemera through the grapevine. Needless to say they're 3 of the best CDs I own and the music is some of the freshest I've heard in years. Great listening.
