Album Notes

Ephraim Figueroa, a longtime resident of Brookline, Massachusetts, was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona and attended Arizona State University in nearby Tempe, where he majored in English. Tabor Press has previously published two of his books; in them he served primarily as a lyricist in the composition of odes and hymns. In 1999, he again worked as a lyricist, this time in the production of a CD in Sophia, Bulgaria with the Sophia Philharmonic Orchestra, a composer, and several famous singers from that country. This latest offering, The Prince of Belvedere and Other Poems, represents yet another direction for the author: a book of verses, simply written, in a classical, poetic style for children and grown-ups alike.
