While growing up in north central Texas, Erica Lane was influenced by a wide variety of artists from contemporary to classical, fusing styles that she loved into her own way of composing today. A former Miss Houston and graduate of Texas Tech University, she studied opera with soprano Kathy McNeil, performed at the Miss Texas Pageant on multiple ocassions, and was featured on Johnnie High's Country Music Review. With notable performances at venues such as Life Light Festival (Artist Ovation winner), The Promise at Glenrose, Sam Houston Raceway, Embassy Club, Camden House of Beverly Hills, Moondance Awards Gala, Lifeway's Gideon Media Arts Conference, and St Paul's Cathedral in London (ensemble), along with featured music on soundtracks of over half a dozen film and television projects, she has earned her status as a respected independent artist of her genre. More importantly, she is compelled to bring a message of hope to the hurting and troubled as well as a deep connection to God's spellbouding beauty. Erica reflects her sincerity of that message by giving free concerts at venues across the US, and she has been known to give away music during her tour for whatever amount individuals can afford. Erica is currently the star of a Christian reality show "Inspired Ambition" on the JCTV network.
