Album Notes

This CD is a culmination of my life experiences (so far): living in south Georgia as a kid, traveling the world in United States Marine Corps and loving a truly amazing woman. It is the Real McCoy! Many of the songs were written while I was sailing the Altantic Ocean far away from my loved ones. Nothing can express the way you feel better than a good song.

Notes on few tracks:

1) Song for Meme - The intro to the track "My Marie" is my daughter Marie at age 4 singing a song for her great grand-mother Meme. She blew me away! So I thought it would be a good intro to the song I wrote about her. I love you Marie!
2) Black Rain - This song is a dedication to the recent tornado victims and thier famlies in Vilonia, AR ; Joplin, MO and Alabama. I also thought about the earthquake in Japan and the flooding almost everywhere. As I say in the song: "Grab your loved ones and hold on tight ... May Lord Have Mercy"

As an artist the biggest kick I get from my music is after I sing a song someone will come up and tell how much they loved it and thanks for sharing it with them ... that's what I live for!
