On his debut recording, New York City Jazz guitarist Eric DiVito explores his improvisational voice and his love of composition to create an eclectic mix of original Jazz compositions that serve as vehicles for interaction, expression and improvisation. His tunes often take us on a journey, exploring aspects of rhythm, harmony, and melody, while always remaining in the Jazz idiom. Expanding the format at times from a trio to a quartet and even on solo guitar, the music contains elements of straight ahead and modern Jazz, pop, folk, classical, and more.
