Ms. Rice has certainly took her voice to a new level with Whispering Trees. Now we know for sure she's on her way. WIth these strong lyrics that proves she has a big heart!!!!! Keep writing girl....

Truly a great album. If today's success in the music industry was based on talent, as opposed to who you (or your manager) know, Elizabeth Rice would be a huge star. Look out, Sarah Mclachlan! But really, buy this album. You will not regret it!

Like lyrical and musical poetry from a friend

Enjoyable, alternatavely relaxing and catchy music. This is a fantastic combination of lyrical imagery, and pleasantly down-to-earth music. Small and Quiet thing grabs you and from there you go on a journey that doesn't just tell you more about Ms. Rice, but you also feel like you understand more about the human experience. This is partly because, I think, each song is so distinctly unique, yet seems to share a common thread, and so fits perfectly with the others to leave you with a sense of having listened to a balanced masterpiece without the excesses of extremes. In an industry that seems increasingly filled with negativity, this is one of the most refreshing offerings I have ever heard, and like all things good, just seems to get better each time I listen to it.
