  • Great Album!

Too bad Drew and I were born, or else you would probably have about 5 Grammys by now. :)

  • Unbelievable Album
    author: William Mayhaw

Truly a great album. If today's success in the music industry was based on talent, as opposed to who you (or your manager) know, Elizabeth Rice would be a huge star. Look out, Sarah Mclachlan! But really, buy this album. You will not regret it!

  • Like lyrical and musical poetry from a friend
    author: Mike Ballard

Enjoyable, alternatavely relaxing and catchy music. This is a fantastic combination of lyrical imagery, and pleasantly down-to-earth music. Small and Quiet thing grabs you and from there you go on a journey that doesn't just tell you more about Ms. Rice, but you also feel like you understand more about the human experience. This is partly because, I think, each song is so distinctly unique, yet seems to share a common thread, and so fits perfectly with the others to leave you with a sense of having listened to a balanced masterpiece without the excesses of extremes. In an industry that seems increasingly filled with negativity, this is one of the most refreshing offerings I have ever heard, and like all things good, just seems to get better each time I listen to it.

  • Tight and light vibrato delivering solid lyrics out of Texas.
    author: Harry Saratoga

This CD has become my favorite music compilation of the year. A plethora of pop, folk, ballad and true blueblood country. Elizabeth uses a tight and light vibrato to deliver some of the most solid lyrics coming out of the hill country of Texas today. It's one of those CDs where your favorite song is always changing. Rice's music has become the soundtrack for my best days this summer. I love "Wonderhill" and "Final Destination". The single, "Raining" is of standing ovation quality at the Grand Ole Opry, bluer than blue. If there is a heaven, I'll wager that Faron Young and Conway Twitty are arm wrestling right now over who gets to cover "Raining" right now!
