Eric Elias' music is described as a creative blend of folk, blues and jazz.
Eric likes to call it "funk folk music."
In concert, Eric performs most often as a solo guitarist (everything from finger style folk to jazz, classical and Brazilian pieces) on both his steel and nylon string guitars.
He has been described as one of the funkiest acoustic guitarists on the East coast.
Eric has also been nominated as one of Harford, CT's best solo performers.
"Conversations With My Strings" is Eric's 4th CD displaying his original fingerstyle acoustic guitar pieces.
The Hartford Advocate decribes the CD as "Beautiful solo acoustic guitar music." This CD brings together Eric's steel and nylon string compositions for an eclectic display of great acoustic guitar.

Excellent Innovative Guitar
author: ScottThis is a fantasic CD for those that like their acoustic guitar with a percussive edge. The greatest compliment I can pay this CD is it is very reminicient of Michael Hedges style. Definitely worth a purchase. I have been listening to this non stop since I bought it. Thoughtful, intelligent and emotive.
